As a former client of Oceanside, Emily has seen first-hand the positive effects of a qualified support team. She struggled with severe depression, body issues, and trauma, as well as drug addiction, and is passionate about helping others who are facing these issues. It was not until she lived at Oceanside and began working a recovery program that she began to finally overcome these struggles.She is currently in school for a certification as a drug and alcohol counselor and plans to eventually attend graduate school in psychology.  She loves listening to and playing music, cooking, hiking, and reading. Emily is extremely grateful for the opportunity to share with others what was given to her at Oceanside.
