Relapse Prevention

LanternFor so many people getting sober is not the problem. Living Sober is. Oceanside was designed to further facilitate the work that was begun in an intensive residential treatment program. So many people spend enormous amounts of money going in and out of one 30 day program after another. Studies consistently show that 90 days of sobriety is a key element in creating a lifestyle change that will ensure ongoing sobriety. While so many people leave a 30 day program with the best of intentions it is all too easy to fall back into old behavior patterns. Oceanside provides the much needed step down service between an in-patient program and return to your home. Relapse can be avoided if you make the commitment to allow yourself the much needed time in early sobriety to focus on recovery. At Oceanside the primary emphasis is working with each client on relapse prevention. This time in treatment really will be the last time and the beginning of a whole new life.
